The Sound of Mull
is a deep trench carved by retreating glaciation that separated
Mull from mainland Scotland some twelve thousand years ago.
The mountains of Morvern and Ardnamurchan are mirrored in the ever-changing waters away to the north, best savoured from the comfort of an armchair in the elevated observation lounge. |

Small, but well groomed grass airstrip. Very nice people handling the airstrip (local farmer) and the Lodge, run by Brendan & Allison Walsh. You can pitch your tent on the grass next to the strip, or sleep in the lodge.
Highly recommended as a romantic spot to fly to...
